About Maartje

I'm Maartje. At small markets I look for jewellery with a past: a ring someone wore for years, a necklace of glass that has long stopped being made, a brooch from a drawer full of memories.

At home I take them apart and put them together again, into sets of three that belong together. That gives every piece a second life, and every set exists only once.

Besides jewellery I make perfume. Real perfume, in small batches, filled by hand into 15 ml bottles.

Sometimes I add a little gift: a small piece of jewellery with a perfume, or the other way around. Because that's fun.
